Nasty Nas, one of the most prolific artists in all of hip-hop recently got a mural of himself painted in his hometown of Queensbridge.

The now infamous projects which is also the home of legendary rap group Mobb Deep is a place Nas has shouted out his entire career. The mural features a large picture of Nas’s face and some of his upper body with the word Queens next to it. There also seems to be some kind of play on the word Illmatic, but it can’t be made out totally from the picture. Mobb Deep’s Havoc celebrated the creation of the moral on Instagram. “#Queensbridge they just gave a long time friend from the hood a mural! He earned every last bit of that!,” he wrote. Nas has other murals around New York City including one in Long Island City that also includes his lyrics to “One Mic.”

Nas has been keeping busy in recent months. Over the weekend he appeared alongside Alicia Keys and Jay-Z at a pop-up concert in Times Square. He also released “Nas Album Done” with DJ Khaled last month.
