Pastor Troy and Bone Crusher will face off in a rap battle this weekend in Atlanta.
The showdown is scheduled for Saturday, October 8. A new promo video was dropped earlier this week by RapGrid that features both contenders who seem to be excited about it. Veteran battle emcee DNA also makes an appearance. The two were asked how this battle will differ from the other ones that featured industry rappers like Cannabis and Keith Murray returning to the ring. “Because we representing the ATL for one,” said Troy when responding to the question. Bone Crusher quickly jumped in and put his arm around his opponent. “It’s gonna be love. It’s gonna be love,” he says. “Troy doesn’t know how to just tell em that it’s gonna be love. It’s going to be fantastic. Wordplay metaphors and similes. Passion and outstandingness. Are you preparing yourself for what’s going on Saturday?”
Bone Crusher also said he’s a fan of the battle culture and he enjoys watching Loaded Lux battles. Troy played it a bit cooler when questioned about his fandom. “My career’s battle. So I don’t really have to entertain it,” he said.
