The streaker who ran onto the Soldier Field grounds wearing a gorilla suit, during Week-4's Bears game in Chicago, has been identified as 31-year-old Angelo Graham of Maryville, Tennessee.

In a stunt that was widely considered to be racist, Graham impeded upon the Bears' match-up against the Detroit Lions, when during the fourth quarter he took to the field with a t-shirt that read "All Lives Matter" on the front, and "Put Down the Guns" on the back. Fans and players watched with a mix of amusement, shock, and confusion as the fur-clad Graham darted halfway up the field and back before pounced by four security guards.

With Colin Kaepernick's Black Lives Matter inspired protest movement having occupied the NFL over the course of the 2016 season, the incident revived question as to the controversial nature of the "All Lives Matter" slogan. Along with its timing, the location of Graham's stunt being Chicago was also controversial, with "Put Down the Guns" striking a sore note as the city continues to deal with its devastating toll of homicides having surpassed the total of those recorded in New York City and Los Angeles combined.
