After months of battling rape charges, Freddie Gibbs has been acquitted. Gibbs was taken into custody before a show in France back in early June. The warrant for his arrest demanded that he was extradited to Austria, where he was in custody battling the charges against him. Manager Ben Lambert made a statement via Instagram, "The truth has come to light. Freddie has been acquitted of the false accusations. He's coming home a free man. Thank you to everyone who has been by our side these past four months, sending us good vibes, praying for us. Thank God. To new beginnings."
Freddie posted a picture today on Instagram holding his beautiful baby girl, and captioned it, "New beginnings." The rapper seems extremely happy to be home, and we look forward to new music from him.
