Only a day after receiving good fortune regarding his legal dispute with Birdman, Lil Wayne received bad news on Tuesday, [September 27], when a judge ruled against him and his Young Money label, in a lawsuit involving David Banner.

As it turns out, Weezy has his debt to settle, with Banner after Banner took him to court for royalties he claimed to have never been paid for. Banner says that he was never fully compensated for work he did on "Tha Carter III" and "We Are Young Money." According to court documents, Wayne has failed to follow up with the case, which has prompted the judge to reward Banner by default. Wayne will now be forced to pay up to the tune of $164,303.

Wayne is still celebrating a breakthrough in his quarrel with Cash Money, as accountants for the label have been ordered to hand over a complete record of receipts that account for the split of a $70 million deal that Wayne claims he was owed and never received.
