Drake released a short film titled “Please Forgive Me” which is inspired by the album “VIEWS.”
The film is exclusive to Apple Music and the rapper released a trailer for it earlier today. The clip starts with Drake sitting at a table all bloody and launches into a bunch of other scenes that feature gun fights, beautiful women, and lots of money. The short film appears to be an action/love flick. It’s unclear how it relates to the “VIEWS” album.
The Verge described the movie as a mix between “Taken” and “Indecent Proposal.” The publication also said the Drake attempts to be an action star in the flick and doesn’t seem very convincing in the role. It takes place in Soweto, South Africa. In the film, Drake takes a million dollars for his girlfriend to have a tryst with some dangerous men. The plan is to make off with the money somehow, but it seems to all go wrong.
