NFL tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday [September 23], after he was busted for suspicion of driving while under the influence in Florida. The development was reported by TMZ, who was able to access police dash-cam footage of the arrest, in which he lies to authorities about his sobriety, then ensues to go on a bizarre tangent.

“I got to take a huge s–t. Am I good to take a s–t?” Seferian-Jenkins is heard asking, before the recording turns to show him laying in the back of the Florida Highway Patrol cruiser with his wrists cuffed between his rear-end and the back of his knees. “I’m not gonna s–t near your car. But when we get there, can I take a s–t?”

The once touted second round draft pick was driving between 75 and 80 miles per hour when he was stopped southbound on Interstate 275. He was taken to Hillsborough County Jail where it is reported that he refused a breath test, and was charged with DUI and violation of an ignition interlock device restriction from a 2013 arrest. He is at some point expected to be picked up by some willing suitor, but whatever team so chooses to sign him will likely have to sit him for the duration of an impending suspension.
