Blac Youngsta recently gave his two cents on Bobby Shmurda's legal fate, applauding the Brooklyn rapper for agreeing to accept the addition of two extra years onto his prison sentence, in exchange for the lessening his partner, Rowdy Rebel's stint by five.

"I got more respect for Bobby Shmurda, the fact he did that, bro. S**t, that damn near brought tears to my eyes, me hearing you say that about the situation," Youngsta said, in response to DJ Smallz' inquiry into how he felt about the situation after Smallz informed the Memphis rapper about news of the plea bargain. "So, one time to Bobby Shmurda for keeping s**t solid, cause, if I'm in there with one of my n*****, one of my homies I really love like a brother, and we're going through this s**t, I'm going to do the same. If they say 'he's going to get life, but you're going to get 10, but if you take 12 we'll give him 12,' I'm taking 12 bro," he said.

Bobby agreed to the deal in early September, nearly two years after he and other members of his GS9 crew were arrested on various charges, including conspiracy to commit murder. Back in May, Bobby received the news that his friends A-Rod and Rasha, had been slammed with lengthy sentences on murder convictions that came out of the GS9 investigation; with A-Rod [Alex Crandon] receiving 53 years, and Rasha [Rashid Derissant] given 98. Under the terms of the plea, Bobby plead guilty to, and will serve five instead of 7 years, for 4th-degree conspiracy and 2nd-degree criminal weapons possession.
