Lil Bibby told VladTV last year that he planned on going back to college, and now it looks like he’s following through with it.
He recently took to Instagram to let his fans know that he is going to start VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) next year. “I made my mind up man I’m going to college. F*** it. I’m going to VCU. Virginia University man. Real n***a s***. I’m going to college man. Let me see when I’m a start. I’m so excited. My first time in a college.”
Lil Bibby first told VladTV that he planned to go to college in April 2015. He made the decision after getting his GED. He was encouraged to do so by radio personality Sway. The host of "Sway in the Morning" publicly congratulated Bibby when he finished with the GED program. At the time, he said he hoped to go to college to get his doctorate. “I’m finna go back to college too. I’m gonna get my doctorate,” said Bibby to VladTV. When asked what he wanted to study the rapper replied with “psychology” and said he wanted to be a doctor too.
