French Montana posted a picture of his friend Max B waving in court with the caption “soon come”

Montana seems excited that his friend copped a plea deal and will be out of prison much sooner than expected. The Harlem rapper was originally sentenced to 75-years and expected to spend the rest of his life in prison. French leaked his text message with the news last week. “All of max charges have been dropped and he entered in to a plea deal and took aggravated manslaughter. Best case scenario max could be home in 2 years. Worst case scenario he can be home in 6,” the message read. Montana went on to say that this was a dream come true and proclaimed, “God is the greatest” at the end of the post.

Max B’s publicist also made the news official in a press release. He clarified that the rapper had entered a plea deal for the sole charge of manslaughter and that the previous 12-count indictment he received will be dropped. There still isn’t a release date for Max B, but he will definitely get out much sooner than expected and will have the opportunity to reignite his music career that stalled in 2009.
