21 Savage claimed he “just got all his tattoos removed” and is a “changed man” in a recent Snapchat post.
The rapper took to social media to release a video that shows him with his face tattoos completely removed. The rapper has a lot of face tattoos including a giant knife in the middle of his forehead. Despite the video showing no more ink on his body, the clip was later revealed to be a prank by Savage who wanted to punk all of his fans. After dropping the initial Snapchat post, he took to Instagram to let his fans know it was a joke. 21 Savage’s knife tattoo was used in the artwork for his latest project titled “Savage Mode” and has become his trademark much like 2pac’s infamous “Thug Life” tattoo.
“Y’all stupid motherf**kers really thought I got my sh*t removed. C’mon man. Sh*t for life. Gang sh*t,” says Savage in the second video. He was also seen at the BET Awards over the weekend with the tattoos. He wouldn’t have been able to get them removed in that short of a time, according to tattoo expert Carmen Vanderheiden who spoke to The Fader regarding the rapper's announcement.
