Lil Reese just discovered that he suffers from Crohn’s disease and is in the hospital being treated.
The Chicago rapper’s potassium levels were so low that he could have suffered a heart attack. Reese let his fans know about the issue via Snapchat. The disease directly affects the gastrointestinal tract and is also known as chronic inflammatory bowel disease. Symptoms including inflammation anywhere in the GI tract. It typically occurs at the end of the small intestine and appears in patches. Even though it’s not fatal, Crohn’s is tough to live with and directly affects the eating habits of the person that has it.
Reese is currently signed to Def Jam. He rose to fame after being featured in Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like.” He has yet to release an album but has a few mixtapes under his belt. He’s also had some legal troubles over the years. In 2013, he was arrested for possession of marijuana.
