Travis Scott took over Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning this week and discussed a plethora of topics including his experience working with Jay Z and Andre 3000 in the studio.

Scott sat in on sessions for Jay Z’s 2013 solo project “Magna Carta Holy Grail.” “I must say, I’ve been in the studio with Jay Z. And at first I was never like the biggest Jay Z fan bro. Because I thought the freestyle thing was a myth but bro, this man, I don’t even know how old this guy is, this dude I never seen him pick up a pen. I seen him do the Magna Carta album. I was like this makes no sense. This dude’s freestyling the whole album with facts though,” he said.

Scott says he was also extremely impressed with Andre 3000. “A lot of people be talking about Andre like why he not dropping music? Man, that man information. He knows how to play the piano. Like Frank Sinatra style. Beethoven style,” he continued. Co-host Laura Styles tried to press him on information for a new Outkast album, but he declined to discuss it any further.
