Besides ongoing jokes on the internet by other celebrities, Ray J decided to stand behind his friend, Chris Brown and even address the way police are handling the situation.

In an Instagram post, Ray J told his followers that he supports the R&B crooner and find it disheartening to see such a spectacle today, "I'm real upset about today. I'm not happy with how things are handled and how people can take a false story and blow [it] up into something way more than what it should be." He said, "You look outside and it looks like a war zone for no reason, for some[thing a] stranger said—something about something that don't got nothing to do with nothing, and to react like that, so fast without really knowing the facts ain't cool."

Early Tuesday morning, police and helicopters swarmed the singer's mansion after a woman accused him of pointing a gun at her. Despite the police attempts to get into the home, Brown told his fans in a video post that they would need a search warrant before stepping into his home.
