Earlier this year, ILoveMakonnen revealed that he's no longer signed to Drake's OVO Sound label, and he denied any beef with the Toronto rapper. However, Makonnen recently posted a series of tweets that suggested that there is some animosity between himself and Drake, as he reached out to his former boss to ask him what the problem is between them.
"Idk what is this all about? @Drake i have no beef or animosity towards u, what happen just now is beyond me, I hope we can talk about this. All I have is love and respect for everyone, I was there tonight to meet and greet everyone with love, this is so weird."
While some people may be questioning why Makonnen took the situation to Twitter, he revealed that he has no contact with Drake or anyone in his camp. He wrote, "If I could reach out to y'all I would, but this is the only way y'all gonna see it. Peace and love."
