Drake took home the first award of the VMA's for "Best Hip-Hop Video," but unfortunately wasn't there to accept it. However, Diddy stepped up to the plate and accepted the award on Drake's behalf. Drake won for his hit single "Hotline Bling," as everyone expected him to.
Diddy accepting the award for Drake comes as a surprise for most seeing as the two had previous beef over the single, "0-100/The Catch Up." Just last week in North Carolina Drake brought Diddy out at Summer Sixteen Tour stop also catching everyone by surprise. It seems the two are rekindling their friendship.
