The race for the presidency of the United States has heated up with both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump actively at each other's necks. Despite some of Donald Trump's abrasive rhetoric, many citizens support the GOP candidate. Even terrorist groups like ISIS have announced that they back Trump over Hillary Clinton. In a piece by Foreign Affairs magazine, it was revealed through interviews and an analysis of select social media profiles of ISIS members that they back Trump. One spokesman for ISIS took to an ISIS outlet to say "I ask Allah to deliver America to Trump." When asked to give the reason behind their support, another ISIS member said that Trump and his abrasive and polarizing statements position Trump as the "perfect enemy" for the organization.
Along with that, jihadists interviewed by the magazine noted that Trump's anti-Muslim sentiments will boost recruitment for the organization. On the flip side, an ex-fighter for the organization noted that Clinton and her imagery doesn't appear in any ISIS recruitment videos because "she never says anything bad about Muslims."
