Recently, a photo of Young Joc surfaced with a new hairdo which led many on social media to go in on the southern rapper. Many memes began to appear within the short time of the photo, which led Joc to address all of those making fun of his new look. Via Instagram, the rapper said "See, it's cool to be a follower, I guess. All y'all wanna look alike. But what if I just chose to do something different because I knew yo motherf*ckin' ass was gonna talk about it? I won." Joc also noted that his new look might be for a movie role that he may be involved in. On a caption of another video he posted, Joc said "BIG screen flow.... I know yall gonna hit me with all the Shade in the Room that's totally fine because I know how blessed I am.... Never been scared to be the Center of attention without trying.."
