Both a customer and the waiter of a San Antonio steakhouse are being sought by police, after an altercation between them turned physical and subsequently led to gunfire on Wednesday, August 24. The incident took place at the Little Red Barn Steakhouse on the city's Southeast Side, during the afternoon. Witnesses recall multiple shots being fired, but no injuries have been reported.

Video captured the chaos that ensued moments after the confrontation escalated, was aired by local television news stations Wednesday evening. In it, the server involved is picked up as he circles a fellow employee who appears to give her back to him in an attempt to keep him back before she panics and runs as shots go off. It is unclear who he is firing at when he takes aim ahead after bucking off at the ceiling, as customers scream and scramble.

The conflict is reported to have begun when the unidentified waiter served up the wrong order, at which point the customer became irate. A customer sitting with the suspected party would join in as they began exchanging words. At some point the waiter was grabbed up in a headlock, witnesses have stated. That's when the waiter pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and began shooting, setting off a brief chase, with scared bystanders evacuating the exits.

No arrests were made, as the involved parties escaped the scene before police arrived. Authorities are seeking the offending customer on possible assault charges, while the waiter may face unlawful carry of a weapon.
