Tory Lanez visited The Breakfast Club on Wednesday [August 24], and before touching on the status of his rivalry with Drake, or engaging the show's trio on his new album, the Swavey artist spoke on a note he had allegedly left Angela Yee. "He was just saying something nice; something that yall men need to learn from," Yee said after DJ Envy reminded Tory of the matter. "Nah. It was like, 'Yo, you a sexy mother*****r. I just want you to know that. Or something along those lines," he then responded to Yee's expressed favor.

Lanez would continue to flirt as the show went along, at one point addressing Yee's inquiry into his recent love life by silencing down and replying: "I mean Angela, You know I just want you, though. When it comes down to everything, you know what I'm saying."

The alleged 'letter' was brought to the attention of listeners on Tuesday, when during the show's morning broadcast, Yee confirmed that Lanez had indeed left her a couple of words, but characterized it as a note more so than a letter. She wasn't able to share the contents of the letter, because she had misplaced the paper it was written on. As Charlamagne went about cracking on Lanez calling him a Trey Songz soundalike, and drawing parallels between Trey's alleged crush on Yee and Tory's fondness of her, Envy teased his partner, pressing her to find the said piece of paper and saying "He wrote you a nice little letter. He was like 'Sweety Baby, you are beautiful, you are gorgeous. I can't wait to see you later on. Can you wear that stuff that you wore the other time.' He wrote all that in the letter, and you just threw the letter [away]."
