Rodman fled the scene after the accident, according to TMZ. He is now being investigated for the hit-and-run. Witnesses told authorities that he was driving a white SUV that crashed on the 5 Freeway around 12:30 A.M. Investigators are now saying Rodman was driving northbound while in the southbound carpool lane. A BMW driving in the opposite direction swerved to avoid Rodman’s truck and ended up hitting the center divider. TMZ reported that Rodman was at a Karaoke bar before the crash. It is possible that he was under the influence at the time. CHP investigators are recommending that Orange Country prosecutors press charges against Rodman.
