Paul Rosenberg, Eminem’s longtime manager, and associate chalked up Ebro’s recent mention of Eminem dissing Drake to a slow news day.

News of a conversation between the radio personality and Toronto rapper hit yesterday. Ebro claimed that he knew something about Eminem potentially dissing Drizzy in retaliation for Joe Budden. Rosenberg, along with Slaughterhouse members including Joe Budden, took to Twitter to laugh the rumors off. “Slow news day I see,” wrote Rosenberg yesterday. Slaughterhouse members Royce Da 5’9, KXNG Crooked, Joel Ortiz and Budden himself echoed those sentiments. “Wild rumors out here...Plus it’s hard to believe that anybody would invite Eminem to make diss songs about them,” wrote Crooked. “Even tho these rumors are bs it would be fun to hear Em do a “celebrity roast” type joint..Shit would be hilarious. Damn it worked..They got us talking about false rumors and ‘never happenings’”

Ebro responded to them by saying the Eminem statement was a joke. “Facts we was joking..Talked about in jest & fools jumped out the window. I ain’t even think it was a big deal,” Ebro wrote on Twitter. The controversy started when Ebro said over the radio that he heard Eminem was preparing to diss him and said he mentioned it during a conversation with Drake. “I told Drake that I heard the rumor was Eminem was going to gear up to come after him,” he said. ‘“He laughed. He was like,’ That’s not gonna happen.’ He’s like, ‘He’d never do that. And if he did, I got something for him, too.’”
