Earlier this month, Lil Bibby was interviewed by VladTV, and a few of his statements brought him a bit of backlash via social media. When asked a hypothetical question about if he would call the police on his mother's murderer, the rapper responded by saying he abides by the code of the street, and would never take it upon himself to snitch. Bibby went on to say that it's difficult to do anything with police, and he even provided an instance where he handled the law himself.
Since the interview, the backlash against Bibby's comments has caused the rapper to respond in his own way via Instagram. In the clip, Bibby says "This is an announcement for you all you snitch a** b*tch a** n*ggas talking about that Vlad interview. Talking about 'If somebody shot yo momma you ain't gon tell?' No. And if you come from where I come from, and you would tell, y'all some f***ing snitches."
Bibby went on to call anyone who would tell the cops about someone shooting them "the police." He went on to say you should handle whatever retaliation on your own as opposed to snitching. His reasoning was because you don't know if that person you are telling on will end up beating their case, which could possibly lead them back to you.
