Long-time fans turned followers of Method Man on the internet might be disheartened to learn that the Wu-Tang Clan legend announced he is walking away from partaking in social media, on Tuesday [July 26]. The rapper/actor declared his departure via Twitter and Instagram, saying he will be gone "until further notice," and blaming the virtual world's culture of trolling from behind a keyboard, for his decision.

Meth may have taken a headache or two from anonymous users over the years, but one particular follower should have known better than to post a picture of his wife. The 45-year-old Staten Island native is known to be private about his family life, particularly in regards to his other half, whom fans will recall him having a falling out with Wendy Williams over when she publicized her battle with cancer in 2006. "I am asking if u can please take this down..My wife deserves her privacy and to be left alone.. Thank u!" he wrote upon realizing that an individual by the name of Farrah Gray had posted the flick. "I'll ask again could u Please take it down, if u hv any decency in u. Please!" he would follow, after realizing that the user had yet honored his request.

"I've lost faith in human decency, and I will not feed the trolls any longer. F--k u all. 1," the rapper finally wrote. While his pages remain up, he has posted nothing since, and each of his profile pictures has been replaced with animated depictions of trolls.
