Aldon Smith found himself in the hot seat again after a viral video is suspected to be him smoking weed.  The Periscope video titled “Fire Up Session” was listed under the name “Ricky,” which features several videos clearly showing Smith speaking on camera.  In this particular video, he never shows his face, but what sounds like his voice and the voice of an unknown woman can be heard as the camera shows a lit blunt.

In the video, the woman is heard telling him he shouldn’t be filming that. “You’re stupid. You’re tripping. Ni--a, they don’t know it’s me. It’s not like I put ‘Aldon Smith,'” he replies before the video abruptly cuts off.

Smith appeared to be staying out of trouble after a very rough couple of years. He spent time in rehab in 2013 and served a nine-game suspension in 2014.  He was released by the San Francisco 49ers in September following his fifth arrest in five years.  He pled not guilty to misdemeanor counts for   hit-and-run, drunken driving and vandalism charges from the alleged Aug. 6 incident.

Smith signed with the Oakland Raiders in September.  He's currently serving a one-year suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy in November.  Smith is eligible to apply for reinstatement in September 2016, 60 days before the one-year anniversary of the suspension.  That, however may be in jeopardy as the NFL is currently investigating if he violated the protocol of his suspension.

Smith took to his Twitter account and denied that's him in the video.
