According to reports, Atlanta rapper OG Maco did not have the best weekend whatsoever after being a victim of an extremely gnarly car crash last Friday (July 22). Although details around what caused the accident, as well as if anyone else was harmed in the incident, are obscure at this time we do know the “U Guessed it” rapper is very fortunate to be alive. The rapper took to Twitter to ask fans to pray for him after suffering multiple skull fractures along with some very serious other injuries that will require surgery.
On Friday night, Maco tweeted a pretty telling picture of himself looking worse for wear laying on a stretcher with a black eye and a neck brace on with the photo caption, “#PrayForMaco.” Despite him not revealing much of what led up to his serious brush with death, he did allude to being very thankful for wearing his seatbelt, right before rattling off a slew of injuries such as multiple skull fractures, a broken orbital bone, cracked vertebrae, and heart palpitations. Not to mention two of the injuries he sustained will require two different surgical procedures.
Maco’s unexpected accident comes on the heels of dropping his latest mixtape, Breathe 2, earlier this month. We’re definitely praying for a speedy recovery for Maco. See the rapper’s tweets above.
