Following the senseless deaths of both Alton Sterling and Philando Castile at the hands of local law enforcement in their respective neighborhoods, strife between communities and police officers are at an all time high. Due to increased mistrust of those tasked to serve and protect our communities, people are now taking their lives into their hands, and going as far as documenting all their encounters with police on camera to feel safe. Thus was the case of a Cobb Country man who filmed police wrongfully detaining him and taking his gun while he sat parked in his apartment’s driveway allowing his car to warm up. The man was none too happy and is heard throughout the video cursing the officers out while collecting names and badge numbers.

In this video that's gone viral, it shows a Georgia man sitting in his car, arguing with three officers on why he was unlawfully detained on the grounds of his residency. According to the officers in the footage, they detained him after they assumed he was meeting with the other suspect they also had detained in the video. However, the camera operator quickly refutes those claims and proceeds to blast the officers on camera for reaching in his vehicle and removing his gun unlawfully. He also berates the officers for assuming he had a relationship with the other man in custody merely because they were both black without any concrete evidence.

Is this what its come to? Policing the Police? Watch the video, and weigh in with thoughts below.
