In the summertime, most sports are on standby. However, ESPN's 30 for 30 is keeping sports entertainment active as they have released their latest installment in the series titled Doc and Darryl. The documentary focuses Doc Gooden and Darryl Strawberry, two athletes who partied just as hard as they played for the New York Mets.
To prep listeners up for the documentary, Darryl Strawberry made an appearance on SiriusXM's Mad Dog Radio and basically revealed some wild facts about his time on the New York Mets. He spoke about all the craziness he got into during the games, which included drinking, smoking cigarettes, and having sex. Strawberry elaborated, saying "When I was on the road, probably. It’s a great possibility. In the middle of a game. Let’s just leave it at that. Been there, done that. Between innings. It worked out well just how crazy it was. It kind of worked out that way. You point (a woman) out and tell the kid (to go get her).”
