VH1 Hip Hop Honors went down last night, and they paid tribute to legendary women like Salt-N-Pepa, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, and Lil Kim. During Lil Kim's set, the Brooklyn rapper ran through her classic tracks like "Queen B****" and "Get Money." During the latter song, she brought out Rich Homie Quan to assist her with The Notorious B.I.G.'s verse, but the rapper skipped over a good portion of Biggie's lyrics.
Since then, many have chimed with their opinion by making fun of the rapper, while others have been critical of the performance, including Joey Bada$$. The Brooklyn rapper took to Twitter to voice his opinion, saying, "What rich homie did on the VH1 honors is everything that's wrong with hip hop." Despite the major setback, Lil Kim's performance still continued on.
