As a video showing the brutal murder of Alton Sterling by the hands of police has gone viral, many people, including celebrities have voiced their concerns for Black lives and the direction America is heading in. A senseless act at the hands of two Baton Rouge police officers have ended the life of a 37-year-old father, who was only selling CDs in front of a convenience store when he was approached. Police say an anonymous caller said the man selling those items had a gun on him, which led to authorities arrival. It's unclear what happened afterwards, however, the video shows Sterling pinned on his back to the ground, police arming themselves, and firing several shots into his chest.
Now, along with millions, celebrities are using their social media to address the issue at hand and are demanding justice for another murder by police.
