Brick Squad is expected to be hit with an $11 Million lawsuit over the death of rapper Slim Dunkin.

Dunkin, whose real name is Mario Hamilton, was killed during a confrontation at a video shoot that Gucci Mane’s 1017 Brick Squad label organized. He apparently got into a scuffle with another rapper named Young Vito and was shot in the chest, according to HipHopEnquirer. Dunkin’s father filed a civil lawsuit against the label, which claims that they did not provide his son with adequate security for the video shoot. The report says the court agreed and issued a judgement against the label. Young Vito was sentenced to 25 years for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Hamilton’s father was disappointed that the original murder charge did not stick at the time. “I’m disappointed with that verdict,” he said. “I don’t know what (the jury) saw. In the end, he got 25 years and we can have some closure.”

Slim Dunkin was a close friend of Waka Flocka Flame and the two appeared in many viral videos together. He was shot and killed back in 2011. His killer’s sentence has been reduced to 10 years.
