Birdman is sick and tired of the music business getting in the way of his relationship with his "son," Lil Wayne.

The Cash Money Records CEO visited Big Boy’s Neighborhood this week, and once again, addressed the conflict with Lil Wayne. Despite the recent shots thrown his way by Weezy, Birdman still feels that the conflict will be resolved between the two and even said he would quit the music business in order to repair their relationship. “I ain’t spoke with him in about a month. You know the weirdest [thing]? We see each other everyday. We work next door to each other at the studio,” he said. Even though they are in the same place almost every night, they do not speak, according to Birdman. He also explained the issue between them a bit. “It’s not serious. I just never want the music business to interfere with my relationship with my son in any way. I love him to death. I raised him. Right now its affecting our personal relationship. I said I really would quit before I allowed that to happen. He got it for me. On some ego sh** to be honest with you,” he said.

Birdman also told Big Boy that this is not the longest the two haven’t spoken and that they’ve actually gone a year without any communication. He seems ready to resolve things and said he wants to leave the rap game with his son. The Cash Money CEO also was asked about his infamous Breakfast Club interview and let Big Boy know that he doesn’t have a problem with Charlamagne Tha God. He also said he’d be willing to go back to New York for another interview with them and that he made a “couple $100,000” off the “Respeck My Name” campaign. Birdman donated all the proceeds from the shirts made to boys homes around the U.S.
