After winning the NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving had a celebration party aboard a yacht in Miami.  In a video from the party that later went viral, Irving is seen celebrating with his friends and nothing but white women. Soon another story developed saying Irving had a strict policy, telling his friends to only invite white women and no black women were allowed; it was dubbed a "milk party."

He initially responded to the story by posting a picture on his Instagram account as a part of a group of seven at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. His caption said, “All different shades” and the hashtag “#Tryadifferentstory.”

Irving also took to his Facebook account and dismissed the story as completely false.  He noted that he was raised by the black women in his family and it's embarrassing to be connected to "nonsense" like a "no black girls allowed party."

He also apologized to those connected to him for having to address the story and noted that he would like to continue celebrating his championship.

He's now busy with Team USA after making the 12-man roster for the 2016 men's basketball team for the Rio Olympics.
