It looks like Aussie rapper, Iggy Azalea won’t be catching a break anytime soon as far as her music and personal life goes. Just last week, Azalea and ex-fiance, Nick Young publicly came forward to acknowledge that they had pulled the plug on their three-year long relationship, following Young being outed by his teammate for cheating in March. According to Azalea who wrote in a detailed Instagram post, she was simply not able to move past Young’s cheating ways. To add insult to injury, Azalea was approached while walking through the airport, had a not-so-friendly encounter with a fan after he unceremoniously thanked the rapper for single-handedly “ruining hip-hop”, while catching it all on camera.
Azalea, who has lashed out several times on Twitter for being the running joke of hip hop, was clearly not there for the fan who ambushed her and caught it all on camera just before spinning on his heels and leaving with the quickness. Unfortunately for the rapper, this was not her first run-in with experiencing abject for her musical contributions, as over the years Azalea’s special brand of hip hop has received much negativity and backlash. Not to mention several feuds on Twitter with the likes of Q-Tip, Snoop Dog, Talib Kweli and more.
