A Facebook video posted by one of three burglary suspects led to the arrest of two of the men when it came to the attention of police, who released 25 pages of incident reports that tie them to two separate heists in Pinecrest, Florida on Thursday [June 23]. 18-year-old Raderius Glenn Collins and Marcus Terrell Parker, 27, have been charged in connection with the spree. A third suspect is still being sought as authorities look to wrap up a case in which robberies on May 27 and June 9 resulted in the theft of over $500,000 worth of jewelry.

The trio appeared giddy over having found a safe in one of the homes, as they recorded themselves flashing wads of hundreds from a bag full of money. They had apparently underestimated the value of the possessions, exchanging it all for $3,900; $1,300 each.  Although most of it had already been melted down, police were able to recover some of the jewels at Xodium Jewelry and Watch, in the Southland Mall.

Mention of a safe on the video clued authorities, as an abandoned safe had reportedly been discovered in an open field alongside SW 224th Street and 115th Avenue.  Police would find some of the jewels in the car and homes of Collins and Parker. They face counts of burglary, grand theft, criminal mischief, and dealing in stolen property.
