Charles Barkley is known to give his opinion, no matter what kind of praise or backlash he will receive. Recently while on Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons, Charles Barkley made sure to let everyone know that he does not think LeBron James is top 5 material, despite all his achievements on multiple teams in the NBA. Barkley said "In my opinion he is one of the 10 greatest ever," but is just outside of his top 5 with Kobe and others. Barkley also went on to say that it would be an honor to play on a team with LeBron, but said that he "had a four year head start" in reference to James going to the pros straight from high school.
Barkley gave James respect for having an upstanding career despite entering the league so early, but still noted that LeBron would not be cracking his top 3 or top 5. He did say that the 2016 NBA Finals MVP would surpass Kobe and Tim Duncan in his eyes. Watch the clip above.
