Wiz Khalifa doesn’t believe the apology he received from Kanye West for insulting  Amber Rose and his son over Twitter earlier this year was genuine.

The rapper recently addressed the confrontation with The Breakfast Club and gave thoughts on Kanye’s intentions when it comes to squashing their beef. Wiz said they spoke on the phone about it, but the conversation didn’t truly resolve the conflict. “He apologized. I wouldn’t necessarily say it was squashed though because like, when you see him talk about it, it doesn’t add up to what he said to me on the phone, so I just don’t even [believe it],” Wiz said. Co-host Angela Yee then asked if Wiz liked Kanye West and he replied saying “who would in that situation.”

The Twitter beef started when Wiz commented on Kanye changing his album name to “Waves.” “Max B is the wavy one,” tweeted Wiz back in January. “He created the wave. There is no wave without him.” Kanye caught wind of the tweet and released a barrage of responses aimed at insulting Khalifa. “Bro first of all you stole your whole sh*t from Cudi. Second, your first single was corny as f**k and most there after,” he tweeted. After a few responses from Wiz, Kanye then went in on his family. “5th I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years. 12th You wouldn’t have a child if it wasn’t for me. 13th You own waves???? I own your child!!!,” he continued. The conflict reportedly ended in the phone call Wiz was discussing during the interview.
