2 a.m. in Calabasas; that was around the time producer Detail arrived at Drake's mansion one early morning in June of 2014, where he was confronted by his bodyguard Chubbs, who ensued to throw him a beatdown at the Drake's orders, says the Detroit beatmaker in a lawsuit he has filed against the Toronto rapper.
According to Detail, whose given name is Noel Fisher, he traveled up to the Canadian estate under the impression that he was being invited to work with Drizzy. The two had collaborated before, with Fisher having made contributions on 2013's Nothing Was the Same. But upon coming to his destination he claims that he was attacked for what he believes is having turned down Drake's request that Detail do production for him exclusively.
"I will beat all your asses , including your bitches. I don't give a f***. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake's a punk?" Fisher claims Chubbs screamed as he pummeled him with blows that resulted in him suffering a broken jaw.
Detail is a Grammy award winning producer, known best for producing Beyonce's "Drunk in Love." He has also worked with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Ray J, Akon and Lil Wayne.
