Contrary to popular belief, it wasn't the lean that sent Lil Wayne's private jet tailing off course to make two emergency landings on June 13.  This, according to representatives of the rapper, who said on Thursday (June 16) that what initial news reports on the scare had failed to inform, was that he wasn't on his epilepsy medication.

Wayne's battle with the neurological disorder has long been documented. Having forgotten to pack his meds for the road, handlers of the Young Money captain were unable to find a pharmacy that could sell them his requisite Rx pills while in Milwaukee.  By Monday afternoon word had gotten around that he suffered a seizure while on a flight home.  Refusing medical attention, the 33-year-old New Orleans rapper would again take flight before a second seizure and airplane landing alarmed the hip-hop world once again.

Fans are sure to be skeptical, as rumors that Weezy had been scoped guzzling exorbitant amounts of the codeine mix just the night before, beat the official word of his PR people. If there was one source of calm for those who found themselves on edge though, it was in learning that he had recovered to the degree that he could perform in Los Angeles the following night.
