An aspiring rapper and amateur XXX film director has plead guilty to conspiracy to produce child pornography in Columbus, Ohio. Eric D. Chavis, 24, who goes by the rap alias "Thot King", was one of a team of four men arrested during a prostitution sting in August. He faces between 15 and 30 years in prison, with a term of between 5 years and life of legal supervision once he is eventually released. He could also incur a $250k fine.

Evidence against Chavis and co-defendants Carlton Jackson, 30, Mareekus Davis, 22, and Lamont Abbington, 30, wasn't difficult to secure, as they were known to distribute their content online, through Facebook, Youtube, Instagram and Porn websites. They are reported to have recruited and coerced three under-aged girls to engage in sex acts that were filmed and exploited.

At least one of the victims described being duped into an isolated room, where she found herself surrounded by six men. She admitted understanding that she would be involved in a video, but claims that Chavis had agreed to the condition that she wouldn't have to take her clothes off. According to the victim the boys would go breaking their word, making subtle threats that left her fearing that she may be in danger if she refused their commands.

“He said ‘don't you want to go home? Don't you want to see your son?’” she recalled them asking, before taking it a step forward: “You already get your pants off or do you want to get raped?,” The un-named victim told of having been an A student in school until the incident. Video of the event would make it's rounds around her school, and lead to bullying and shaming that she said almost pushed her to take her own life.
