Toni Braxton and Birdman may finally be confirming that they are dating, after months of speculation and rumors.
Toni Braxton was performing at a show on Thursday night at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta and brought the Cash Money CEO out to join her and her sisters on stage. The crowd went wild once the singer mentioned Birdman’s name. After leaving the stage, Braxton joked about his infamous interview with The Breakfast Club. “Respect that man y’all. Respect that man,” she said. She also called him “boo” at one point. It was a special night for the singer as she was given a key to the city by councilman Kwana Hall and mayor Kasim Reed who declared it “Toni Braxton Day.” Sources told TMZ that Birdman was there to watch her receive it.
Birdman and Toni Braxton were also seen together in New York last month. He visited her during her Grammy park performance in Brooklyn, according to TMZ. The backstage was reportedly sealed off so that no one would be able to see them together, but a picture of the two ended up leaking out regardless. Birdman left with his entourage to hit the club. The two have been close for years and have hooked up in the past, according to TMZ’s sources.
Birdman hasn’t been linked to high profile women in the past, and was even questioned about his sexuality by Hot 97’s Ebro Darden during a recent interview. Ebro brought up Trick Daddy’s accusations of Birdman being gay and he responded by laughing off the comments. “C’mon man I’m a straight gangsta. That n***a been in my hood. He know what’s happening with me,” he said. “I guess a n***a get on the radio and wanna be funny or something.”
