Stacey Dash weighed in on the controversial bathroom legislation that will allow transgender people to use the gender specific restroom they feel they were born as, despite their biological make-up.

While promoting here new memoir on Entertainment Tonight, “There Goes My Social Life: From Clueless to Conservative,” Dash discussed fellow conservative Caitlyn Jenner’s use of the woman’s bathroom and asserted that being transgender is a lifestyle choice. “It’s your body! So, it’s your decision, right?” she said. “We all make choices.” She also feels that legislation to allow them to use the bathroom of their choice is unfair to her beliefs, especially if a transgender person has not yet made the decision to alter their body. “OK, then go in the bushes. I don’t know what to tell you, but I’m not gonna put my child’s life at risk because you want to change a law,” said Dash. “So that you can be comfortable with your beliefs — which means I have to change my beliefs and my rights? No.”

During the interview, Dash also attacked Lady Gaga, calling her a hypocrite for using her anti-bullying campaign to promote her “liberal agenda.” “It’s true. It is. And that’s what Hollywood does,” she said. “Hollywood pushes a liberal agenda to the rest of the country. And, whether we like it or not, Hollywood dictates the culture of the country. If [Gaga’s intentions were pure] then it wouldn’t have brought up all that other stuff, you know? All the other things that came in wouldn’t have come into play. It would have been, ‘This is what I wanna say an this is it.”

Dash is a regular on the Fox News network where she regularly discusses her conservative values. She’s been bashed by her own cousin Damon Dash for taking a conservative stance on issues. She also mocked herself at this year’s Oscar’s when she appeared on stage with comedian Chris Rock as the “new director” of the Academy’s “minority outreach program.”
