An intoxicated fan was so convinced the diamond eared, Miami Cuban link chain wearing man before him was no more than a doppelganger of the real R. Kelly, that he agreed to a $100 bet that it wasn't the R&B legend on Thursday, May 26. The chance encounter occurred in the parking lot of Jacksonville's Veterans Memorial Stadium, following one of the Chicago singers concerts. Video of the humorous wager has since gone viral, as sober eyes and listeners of the crooners trademark vocals wonder how the anonymous man continued to be in denial.

The footage was shot and posted to the Youtube channel of DJ Dr. Doom. In it, the shirtless self-described "white boy" fumbles about shirtless while puffing on a Black & Mild, all the while disputing the claim that the group surrounding him were in the company of R. Kelly. "100% not R. Kelly," he responds to inquiry into whether he really doesn't believe he is who he says he is. He is not alone, as at least one man behind him responds with a "nope" as well. That's when Doom finds his queue; challenging the man to back up his dispute with a $100 wager. The man agrees, leading to DJ Dr. Boom handing his end of the bet over for Kelly to count before the singer swings into the opening lines of "Bump 'N Grind".

When the group surrounding the men calmed down from losing their minds, the man remained a doubter, prompting Kells to quip "This muthafucka drunk as hell!". He then attempts his own goofy a cappella of the 1993 classic as Kelly dresses him up with shades and a hat. DJ Dr. Doom never did get his money.
