Last week at Irving Plaza utter chaos broke out at the venue when T.I. and other acts were set to take the stage prior to gunshots ringing out. As a result of the pandemonium, two victims were wounded and one killed. Things took a strange plot twist when authorities released footage of Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave discharging a firearm at the scene of the crime on camera, which has now resulted in him being charged with attempted murder and being held in jail without bail. Now fellow rapper Meek Mill, who is no stranger to his own legal woes, is weighing in on Ave’s situation.

Although Troy Ave reportedly tried to make it clear to authorities that he was the victim in the situation, the judge was unmoved by his pleas and did not grant him bail upon being released from the hospital. The rapper is now facing an assortment of charges, ranging from an illegal firearm possession to attempted murder. Not to mention, authorities waiting for the ballistics report on the bullet that killed McPhatter to determine if it matches the bullets in Ave’s gun. If so, he will also be charged with murder.

On Monday, Mill took to Instagram and weighed in with his thought’s on Ave’s legal trouble, where he ultimately shared he believed Ave was being railroaded, and that the public should wait for more details to be revealed prior to condemning him to being guilty. See Mill’s post above.

Do you agree with Meek?
