Amongst the four people shot at the T.I. concert at Irving Plaza, 26-year-old model Maggie Heckstall was struck in the leg by a bullet while standing in the VIP section of the venue. Now, the young model is set to sue the NYPD. According to the NY Post, she is suing the NYPD because they attempted to interrogate her while she was in the back of the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

The NYPD allegedly kept attempting to interrogate Heckstall as the doctors were cutting her clothes off so she could be treated. According to Heckstall’s lawyer, the NYPD allegedly denied visitation rights to her family when they came to the hospital. Heckstall’s lawyer also said “She didn't ask for police protection. She's obviously a victim in this. They're making her life worse by doing this.”

Despite getting her lawyer to send a cease-and-desist letter to the police, Heckstall is planning on suing the police.
