Surveilled shooter Roland Collins [Troy Ave] will not be booked just yet it was determined Saturday (May 28), as his court date was postponed for medical reasons resulting from his involvement in Wednesday's violence at New York City's Irving Plaza. Collins, 33, happened to be undergoing surgery at the NYU Langone Medical Center during what would have been his day of arraignment. According to reports he remains cuffed to his bedpost under police supervision, as he recovers from having had bone fragments removed from his leg.

To date police have announced no additional suspects in the shooting, as they reportedly work with witness accounts that up to five shots were fired off. So far all of the bullet casings recovered have been traced back to the gun officials have identified as the firearm Collins is seen dispensing in footage from the venue's green room on Wednesday. In addition to two counts of criminal possession of a weapon he was pinned with attempted murder, a charge that could be upgraded should ballistics tests square blame solely on him for the shot that took the life of friend Ronald "Banga" McPhatter.

Only one of the victims in the shooting, Christopher Vinson, 34, [who was shot in the chest], has remained generally absent from the media coverage up until this point. 26-year-old Maggie Carrie Heckstall has been making headlines for the NYPD's handling of her as a hospitalized witness. In a message delivered through her Instagram page on Saturday, Heckstall maintained that she did not see who shot her and claimed no knowledge of Troy Ave's involvement until she heard about it through the press. Through her lawyers she also announced plans to file suit against all "responsible parties".

A rescheduled court date for Collins has yet to be confirmed.
