MC Shan recently suggested that rival KRS-One might have been molested by hip-hop pioneer Africa Bambaataa, who is now facing a slew of child sexual abuse allegations from former affiliates.

The “Kill That Noise” rapper was asked about the industry criticizing KRS-One for defending Bambaataa in interviews and suggested that the Teacha himself might have been one of the victims. “You just running off at the lip,” said Shan in an interview with Murder Master Music Show. “Not thinking or being conscious of what you said. Now the whole industry is out on your head. Talking about ‘How can you defend a child molester’ You gotta look at the history with him and Bam. He might’ve been one of those. So, I don’t know. I’m just alleged. Let’s not get sued. I don’t know… I’ve even started looking at some of his lectures. And the folks that follow his lectures is just people that need to be led by somebody and something.”

After condemning KRS-One’s lack of concern, MC Shan revealed his own experience with molestation as a kid. “His legacy is tarnished, period,” he said. “Bambataa’s legacy is tarnished.. You used that whole movement to manipulate these young men… I had a mothaf***a—And I ain’t ashamed to say it,” he continued. “Cause mothaf***er when you kids, do sh** to oyu. I had a mothf****a touch me when I was young. So, I hate motherf***ers like Bambaataa. And motherf***as always be on some f***in’ ‘Why you so against faggots, Shan? You a homo hater.’ That ain’t it. Cause y'all n****s like to touch mothaf***in’ little boys.”

KRS-One and MC Shan have been rivals in the rap world since the 1980s and engaged in the infamous battle between MC Shan’s home of Queens-bridge vs. KRS-One’s South Bronx. The two appeared to settle their differences until an interview earlier this year where MC Shan called KRS-One out to battle on stage. KRS-One told the Drink Champs podcast that he was willing to battle his old rival one on one, but to this day nothing has materialized from it.
