Bow Wow is one of the few entertainers who can say they gained iconic status as a child, which he spoke about during a recent interview with VladTV.

The Columbus native detailed his rise to mega fame, which started after his mother took him to a Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg concert in his hometown, where he stole the show. From there, Bow Wow's mother allowed the artist to go on tour alone at the young age of five, and he revealed that it was Snoop Dogg's backup singer who looked after him. Bow Wow detailed the eye opening experience of going on tour with his idols, which included him sneaking into 2Pac's recording booth to see the late legend up close.

During the interview Bow Wow spoke about signing to Jermaine Dupri's So So Def label and not knowing who he was beforehand. He also spoke about what it was like to be idolized, which you can hear more about in the above clip.
