On Thursday (May 25), Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane surprised the masses when his long-time girlfriend, Keyshia Ka'oir Snapchatted that Gu’Wop was back in the free world, a full four months earlier than anticipated. Back in September of 2013, Gucci went into the custody of an Indiana prison after the judge ruled that he had violated probation. The rapper is finally free after his attorney convinced the judge to give him an early release stemming from credits for previous time served that was never applied to his sentence. Gucci is now home, and it looks like the rapper hasn’t missed a beat, as he took to Instagram to show off his jewels and show that he’s very much still “So Icey” indeed.
Gucci aka La Flare took to Instagram to show his diamonds dancing in a video clip, where he appears to be in the studio working after not being home for a full day. In the dark clip, Gucci’s face is concealed while his diamonds illuminate the frame and show him bopping along to what sounds like new music. According to rumors, the rapper is working on a new mixtape which may be dropping as early as this weekend.
Although the rapper is finally home, he’s not completely in the clear. TMZ reports that he will be on house arrest for a couple of moths, prior to being put back on probation for an extended period.
