An anonymous collector and 2Pac fan payed down a pretty significant sum to take home one of the late icon's personal possessions recently. The Midwest man raised the winning bid for Pac's vintage Hummer H1, signing off $337,114 for the customized vehicle. The "I Get Around" rapper was said to have owned the set of wheels for the final three months of his life, before passing on September 13, 1996.

After acquiring his estate, Tupac's mother Afeni Shakur took ownership of the Hummer before changing hands several times. Albeit the odometer read 10,101 miles at the time of it's sale, it still bore all of the trappings of Machiavelli's success; an external PA system with three sirens, diamond-plate bumpers, off road lights along with a 360 spotlight, over-sized off-road wheels and tires, and a grille guard. According to RR Auction, the interior has a beige leather upholstery, fit with a 12-disc Clarion sound system, Sony GPS and a central tire inflation system.

“It’s an incredible piece of hip-hop history that evokes the invincible spirit of one of rap’s true lyrical giants,” said Executive Vice President of RR Auction, Robert Livingston. “We are thrilled at the price achieved and with the continued success of our specialty themed auctions.”
